there are plenty of top business schools that does not give much weightage to past academics,research about it and target those schools,all the best

Dhruv, my suggestion is to focus completely on whichever MBA entrance exam you plan to take, whether it's CAT, XAT, NMAT, SNAP, or any other. Don't let your academic record distract you.
If you score well in any of these exams, you can definitely receive calls from top B-schools. Yes, some colleges, like the BLACKI IIMs, may be difficult, but there are many other excellent business schools as well.
Just give it your best and put in your full effort.
