Asked by Sneha on 2026-03-29 in General MBA Doubts
Hi, I have a very big doubt… I completed my B.Sc. in Mathematics in 2025, and I want to pursue an MBA from IIMs. However, I did not want to take a gap year. Most importantly, since I do not come from an engineering background, I had no idea about the challenges I might face in the future. So, I am currently pursuing an MBA from my regular college so that I can get exposure and familiarize myself with what lies ahead, without taking a gap year. Will this current MBA course create any problem in my admission to IIMs? Will doing a double MBA become an issue?...

You can do another MBA that won't be an issue. But, you can't do it at the same time as your existing MBA is ongoing. You'll have to either complete that first or drop it.
