As you all know EWS certificates are only valid for one year from the date of issue.
My EWS certificate expires, 28 august 2026. Would it be possible if I fill the form till 5th August by the time it is still valid. And if I score well, and get to the interview part will apply for one during that time.
The reason I ask this is, because the process has a lot of hassle, it wastes my time and it atleast takes 10 to 15 days of me lining up in municipal corporation lines and what not.
Can someone suggest please ? What to do ?

your EWS form be valid till the time of interview and full selection process is done ,so u need to get it renewed now and then fill ur CAT form afterwards,the same EWS certificate which u upload during form filling should be valid till the end of seledtion process and confirmation ,mail

No the certificate should be issued in current financial year. You have to apply for new one
