I am deeply motivated to pursue an MBA and build a high-growth career, especially in fields like HR or leadership roles. However, I come from Patna, Bihar and being the only daughter, I feel a strong sense of responsibility and emotional attachment toward my parents.
The idea of moving to metro cities for long-term career growth feels conflicting — while I understand the opportunities, it’s difficult to imagine staying away from my family for extended periods.
How can someone in my situation balance career ambitions with family responsibilities? Are there career paths, roles, or strategies after an MBA that allow for strong professional growth while eventually settling closer to one’s hometown?
I would really appreciate guidance from people who have faced or navigated a similar situation.

look at it this way that you have to stay away from them just for 2 years and after that once you land your dream job , you can shift to metro cities with your parents and nothing would make them more happy than seeing their only daughter giving them such lavish lifestyle
