Why an IITian graduate do MBA ??

Why an iitian do mba , for packages , high package ,because there is 2 options in front of me , either go with cat , or with gate , but in my mind there is always a question aperson who do btech from iit is already talented , still he do cat for mba , so somehow , mba degree stands worth over all ,, pls explain the reality

So what would be benificial for me , i have done Bsc in computer science , after that done masters in computer application , then work for an year as an bussiness analyst in state technological department , psu of mpsedc , then drop for almost 2 years for upsc , now switching back to gate or cat , targetting for 2027 , pls guide , would this gap year will create an obstacle in mba , bcs , one of senior done mtech in computer science from iisc and currently working as a amazon scientist will said that in mtech it would not create obstacle , but dont know about mbsa , also people from iit prefering mba after studied from prestigious institute ...., pls guide and put valid reasons , so that i can analyse better

mba helps get into different fields which u cant do easily after core engineering like finance consulting marketing. also package growth is faster
