What Should I Do Now (April 2026) to Keep My Chances Strong for IIM Ahmedabad via B.Com?

Hi ma’am, I passed 12th in 2024 and I haven’t started my graduation yet. Now in late April 2026, I want to take admission in B.Com, but my main goal is to get into IIM Ahmedabad in the future.
Since most top college deadlines are already over, I’m confused about what I should do right now that will still keep my chances for IIM Ahmedabad strong.
Which colleges or options should I target at this stage so that my profile (academics, exposure, opportunities) remains competitive for IIM Ahmedabad? Should I go for any available private college, open university, or wait for better options?
Please guide me specifically keeping IIM Ahmedabad in mind.

Dont take a drop as per me, as it will waste a whole precious year, take admission in whichever best college you can get into and start preparing for CAT while maintaing a good grade at college too.
