Hi Shweta Di we would want the following tools after CAT:
1. Resume Builder
2. GDPI Prep Guidance
Also, it would be really helpful if we get some info regarding the current AI tools/ roles/hiring process in the top B-schools so that we can prepare accordingly for our internships. For example, which tools to use for making ppts, for analysis , for resume building/screening etc.

Hello Shweta dii
- A tool to track all college forms, deadlines and interview calls in one place would be really useful for the interview stage, PI/WAT prep, current affairs, profile based questions and mock interviews would be great
- Also a good resume builder specifically for MBA applications/interviews would be really helpful
- And a resume tool that tells us where our resume is lacking and what exactly we can improve would be really useful for MBA applications and interviews
* And really appreciate what u guys are building it’s been genuinely helpful throughout the CAT prep journey

Thank you for all that you do.
- Would be helpful if XAT content is made available - sectionals and mocks, at least.
- Before CAT, would be helpful if we have a calendar here that tracks the various college application opening and closing dates.

My main problem would be my lack of knowledge and experience as i have never given an interview before , i don't know about the GDPI,WAT and other processes
Janhwi Singh · 2026-09-18 · 13 helpful
Tools help us to improve our WAT by giving topics to write and upload a pic of it, so the mistakes and errors can be taken care of.
And types of questions asked in PI and GD

First, I would like to thank you for providing such valuable content for free through Percentyl. It is genuinely helpful.
After CAT 2026, I would love to have a complete WAT + PI preparation tool, including:
~ WAT topics ranked from most to least important
~ A comprehensive PI question bank covering academics, CV, internships, projects, hobbies, career goals and current affairs
~Profile-based follow-up and cross-questions
~Mock WAT + PI practice with evaluation
~IIM-wise interview preparation and a structured roadmap from CAT results to interviews

Profile/Resume Builder I think
Nandd · 2026-09-19 · 4 helpful
Composite Score & Call Predictor: Calculates actual call chances using 10th/12th marks, stream diversity, and category—not just raw percentile.
AI WAT & PI Coach: Simulates profile-specific interview questions (justifying low academics/gaps) and grades WAT essays against IIM criteria.
Non-IIM Form & Deadline Tracker: Tracks application fees, closing dates, and eligibility filters for FMS, IITs, XLRI, and other top colleges.
Response Sheet Parser: Calculates instant raw scores and normalized estimates slot-by-slot on release day.
Waitlist Movement Predictor: Estimates real-time conversion odds across rounds based on historical trends.
2. Questions to Answer:
What is the exact percentile needed to convert a seat versus just get an interview call for my profile?
Which non-IIM application forms are actually worth paying for before results drop?
How can candidates with low past academics or zero work-ex defend their profile in interviews?
3. Problems to Solve:
Wasted Application Fees: Paying for forms only to get screened out by hidden 10th/12th or sectional filters.
Post-CAT Indecision: Not knowing whether to immediately pivot to XAT/backups or start GD/PI preparation.

Greetings Shweta di, firstly thank you so much for this platform
Some of my product thoughts/suggestions (i would love to build percentyl as a product - linkedin.com/in/themilindpandey) :-
Post CAT tools
=> Score & Call Predictors (Immediate Post-Exam)
>AI Percentile & Call Predictor: A tool where students input their estimated slot-wise raw scores (or upload their official response sheet once released) to receive a predicted overall percentile and a list of IIMs and non-IIMs likely to shortlist them.
>Profile Evaluator: A comprehensive calculator that factors in CAT scores alongside 10th, 12th, graduation marks, work experience, and gender/academic diversity to give a realistic view of their chances at top-tier colleges. [CONSIDERING IIMA's new 65/35 weightage this yr.]
=> GD-PI-WAT Preparation (The Selection Stage)
>AI Mock Interviewer: An interactive audio/video tool that conducts a mock MBA interview based on the student's background (e.g., Engineering, Commerce) and provides instant feedback on communication, structure, and content.
>Current Affairs & SOP Builder: A curated repository of hot economy/business topics for Group Discussions (GD) and Written Ability Tests (WAT), alongside templates to write compelling Statements of Purpose (SOP).
>Alumni Mentor Network: A booking add-on connecting shortlisted aspirants with alumni from specific B-schools for institute-specific interview prep and reality checks on campus life.

pyqs schedule daily challenges everything worked for me, only thing you could improve is maybe an B school application tracker which has the list of B schools which have opened their registration for this year along with the last dates, and the exams they are accepting.
Also y'all could expand your MBA colleges list to top 30 or top 40 B schools in India that would work a lot as well

Hello Ma'am
I wanted to get some guidance regarding work experience for CAT 2026.
I graduated in May 2025 and have been working full-time since July 2025 with a private limited EdTech company. I receive a salary of around ₹23,000/month, transferred regularly through NEFT/IMPS directly from the company’s bank account.
The directors of the company are my parents, but I am not a promoter, director, CEO, KMP, or partner. I am employed as a salaried employee and handle the company's operations almost single-handedly. The company organises certificate courses, webinars, competitions(mainly), and has some national-level collaborations.
The issue is that there is currently no TDS, EPF/PF or Professional Tax deduction from my salary(no as such statutory requirement). However, I can provide an appointment letter, salary slips, bank statements showing salary credits from the company's account, and an experience certificate.
I came across the attached last year JAP criteria, which mentions that work experience needs to be supported by TDS/PF/Professional Tax and also excludes certain types of work in family enterprises.
My questions are:
Should I claim this as work experience in the CAT 2026 form?
Would the fact that the directors are my parents create an issue even though I am not a director/KMP and am a salaried employee?
Is the absence of TDS/PF/Professional Tax likely to make the experience invalid?
If I do claim it, what designation should I mention?
I would really appreciate any guidance. I just want to make sure I fill the CAT form correctly and don't create an issue during the later verification process.

You can make trend analysis tool for DILR and QA sections, in which there will be topic wise trends will be given for each subject and topic by topic, questions along with the trend for those topics for past 5 or 8 years, you may know more how much is needed.
