I want to get admission in IIM A.

I am going to college after 2 years drop. I want to ask, "Does a 2 year period gaps matter?" and What are the things that I must keep in my mind during the college days because I have heard that IIMs check our academics. So, what can I do to increase my chance now with the preparation of CAT for getting into IIMs.
Also my 12th academics result is not good like it's abovee 60% overall. I have done my 12th with PCM.

Academics are quite important, other than that your work-ex and CAT score is what gets you an interview shortlist. Gap years aren't as big of a problem as long as you cover them up with internships, courses, projects etc. Please note that IIMA has an eligibility criteria that requires your 10th and 12th avg score to be more than 80%. So, please visit their guidelines to be sure.
