Honestly, I realized during my bachelor's that I enjoy working with people and managing things more than sitting alone with equations.
In my penultimate year, I was the core member & cultural coordinator for our campus festival. I handled sponsorships, got teams to participate, and managed volunteers. I absolutely loved it. That's when it hit me—I don't want to be a researcher or a physicist. I want to be in business.
So why an MBA and not just a job? Because my physics degree taught me how to think analytically and solve problems. But I have zero formal training in finance, marketing, or strategy. An MBA will give me that foundation much faster than learning on the job for five years.
