I am very confused as to what to do after giving the CAT exam. Do I have to fill the admission forms separately? Do I have to fill them separately for each college? Will I not get any college just by giving the exam? And when are their admission dates, should it be filled after the exam or beforehand, I am not able to understand what they are apart from the exam, what is the roadmap for getting a good college And please also tell me which exams should I appear for.

okay so CAT is the mainstream exam which 95% of colleges accept. if you have filled the CAT form you should already have selected the courses which u want to be considered for in IIMs inside the CAT form itself. That's all u need to do for IIMs. Apart from that you need to separately apply for other non IIM colleges which all have their own forms and deadlines but they accept the same CAT score. Then come the OMETs (Other Management Entrance Tests). Colleges like Symbiosis, XLRI, NMIMS have their own tests apart from the CAT. Filling the forms for their tests gets you automatically considered for admission for that particular institute.

You should keep a check on the deadline of college forms that close before CAT and fill those on priority. Rest every information would be communicated on Percentyl. Depending on your exam, you can take care of the other things later , not now.
