Do they check the ITR and extra scrutiny for EWS people?

So i recently got the EWS certificate based on my parent's income, now when i join the college i'll be jobless but my current package is more than the threshold of EWS criteria, so will they check the ITR or some extra scrutiny will be there at the time of admission?

They may verify your certificate/documents but I don’t think there’s a routine ITR check for everyone just make sure the certificate was issued correctly and you genuinely meet the criteria
