MDI asks for a GOI issued certificate, but in practice most state government income certificates are accepted since they are issued under central EWS/income norms. still, to be safe:
- upload the state issued one you have for now so your application is complete
- parallely apply for a GOI/central govt income certificate from your SDM or tehsildar office, it usually takes 7-15 days
- mail MDI admissions (admissions@mdi.ac.in) with a clear subject line asking if state issued is acceptable, keep their reply as proof
dont leave the field blank, something is better than nothing...
