iam a sc student with 8/7/8 ,graduate at 2027 i am looking to join mba as a fresher since i have poor acads how are my chances in top clg keep in mind i have no leadership roles or other achievements and iam a engineering (eee) form a tier 3 college

8/7/8 isn’t that bad just aim for as high a CAT percentile as possible around 98 - 99 you definitely have chances at A/B/C/K/L so don’t overthink the profile rn

With an 8/7/8 profile (General category), your chances vary significantly by college because every IIM uses a distinct composite score formula. While older IIMs place substantial weight on 10th/12th/Grad consistency, New and Baby IIMs (via the CAP process) and institutions like FMS Delhi or MDI give much greater weight to your CAT score.
