If I have taken a gap (my job ends in july) how should i explain that?

should i say it was for CAT, will i look too dumb that i could not crack it with a job or should i just say medical conditions and the panel will move on?

Either explanation is fine. If it is the truth, you'll be able to back it up better. Many aspirants take a gap to prepare well for CAT and if you reach the interview stage it is a good enough evidence the gap paid off.
