As a minority institution, JMI earmarks 30% of each programme's seats for Muslim applicants, 10% for Muslim women and 10% for Muslim OBC (non-creamy layer) and ST applicants, and reserves 5% for persons with disabilities

  2. Stage 2: an interview and/or group discussion. Candidates are called category by category under JMI's reservation rules, four to five times the seats in each category; the call list is due 20–25 days after the test
  3. The selection list follows within 10 days of the last interview, in order of merit; ties go to the higher written-test score, then to the older candidate

About JMI DMS

The Department of Management Studies at Jamia Millia Islamia grew out of the university's Centre for Management Studies, whose full-time MBA began in the 2003–04 session, and became a department of JMI's Faculty of Management Studies in 2022. On the university's campus in Jamia Nagar, New Delhi, it runs a two-year MBA, an MBA in International Business and an MBA in Innovation and Entrepreneurship, all admitted through JMI's own entrance test.
