CAT 2026 on 29 November in three shifts, with face matching and mobile jammers at select centres
IIMs have confirmed a three-shift CAT 2026 and added exam security measures, including face matching and mobile jammers at some centres.
CAT 2026 will be conducted on Sunday, 29 November 2026 in three shifts. Your shift is assigned to you and is printed on your admit card; you cannot choose or change it.
The IIMs have announced additional measures to secure the examination this year. These include face matching of candidates and the deployment of mobile jammers at select locations. Plan for stricter verification at the centre: carry your printed admit card and the original photo identity proof specified in the information bulletin, reach well before the reporting time, and leave phones and other prohibited items behind.
The IIMs have also stated that they reserve the right to change the test date and time if the situation so warrants, so keep checking the official CAT website until exam day.
