Its flagship Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) is a two-year, full-time residential programme with an intake of around 300 students. GIM was ranked #43 in the Management category in NIRF 2025 and is known for offering a strong campus experience alongside a broad management curriculum.
For the 2026 placement season, the flagship PGDM recorded an average package of ₹16.27 lakh and a highest package of ₹35 lakh. The placement batch consisted of 284 students, with recruiters hiring across sectors such as consulting, BFSI, FMCG, technology, analytics and other corporate functions. The programme’s academic fee for the 2026–28 batch is approximately ₹21.45 lakh.
Admission to the flagship PGDM is through CAT, XAT or GMAT scores. GIM does not publish a fixed CAT or XAT percentile cutoff; instead, final selection considers entrance-test performance along with academics, work experience, personal evaluation and overall profile. Apart from its flagship PGDM, GIM also offers specialised programmes in Healthcare Management, Big Data Analytics, and Banking, Insurance and Financial Services.
