How it works: Clearing your category's overall and sectional CAT 2025 minimums lets you submit an expression of interest through CAP 2026, the joint interview process of IIM Bodh Gaya, Jammu and Sirmaur, coordinated by IIM Jammu. It is not an interview call: the shortlist is then drawn on CAT 2025 percentile and the number of intake slots, so the actual cut-offs may be higher. Who counts as men: The men's rows also cover gender-neutral candidates; transgender candidates take the women's minimums. IIM Jammu's own targets: IIM Jammu's 2026–28 admission policy prints higher interview-shortlisting figures for its MBA (General: 91 overall and 72 in each section for men, 89 and 71 for women and transgender candidates) and says they could move once CAT 2025 results were out. School and degree marks: IIM Jammu sets no Class X, Class XII or graduation minimum of its own (its policy points to CAT's eligibility rules); those marks are scored in the final merit list. A floor to be considered — not the score that got admitted.

CAP 2026: after the expression of interest, IIM Jammu draws its interview shortlist on CAT 2025 percentile and the number of intake slots. One in-person interview, held in major cities, serves every CAP 2026 programme a candidate is shortlisted for. IIM Jammu's own merit score for 2026–28, out of 100: 0.42 × the CAT 2025 percentile, the interview 30, and a profile score of 28 — Class X 2, Class XII 3 and graduation 5 (each banded by marks), work experience 10 (full marks for 24–36 months, 7 for 18–24 or 36–48, 4 for 12–18 or 48–60, none for 12 months or less or over 60) and 8 for women and transgender candidates. Offers follow the Government of India reservation policy.

IIM Jammu was set up by the Government of India in 2016 and runs a two-year, full-time residential MBA at its main campus in Jagti, Jammu. It also offers a two-year MBA in Healthcare Management, taught with AIIMS Jammu and IIT Jammu.

General-category applicants need at least 90 percentile overall in CAT and 65 in each of VARC, DILR and QA to be considered. These are floors; admitted candidates usually score higher.
