IIM Kashipur runs two programmes. The MBA and MBA (Analytics) publish one fee, ₹20.8 lakh, and one average package, ₹14.95 lakh for 2025 — as published by the institute.
ROI divides the average package by the full programme fee; payback is the months of that package it takes to equal the fee, before tax. Fee bases differ between colleges, so check what each fee includes before comparing two.

How it works: Meeting these CAT 2025 and school minimums brings an invitation to register for JAP 2026, the joint process of IIM Kashipur, Raipur, Ranchi and Tiruchirappalli; the interview cut-offs are set later and may be much higher. IIM Kashipur has not posted its own 2026–28 interview cut-offs: its admission page still shows the CAT 2024 table. CAT sections: A positive scaled score in each of VARC, DILR and QA. Final-year students: May apply on marks to date; admission is provisional until a completion certificate is submitted by 30 June 2026, with final results by 30 September 2026. Overseas candidates: Indian or foreign nationals who have lived, worked or studied abroad for 18 months in a row apply to IIM Kashipur directly for 12 seats, with 50% in the bachelor's degree and a GMAT score of at least 670 (taken on or after 1 May 2024) or a CAT 2025 score, either in the top 15 percentile. A floor to be considered — not the score that got admitted.

JAP 2026: registered candidates are shortlisted for the joint interview category by category on CAT 2025 scores. IIM Kashipur's policy adds that its call minimums can be relaxed to fill a category, or raised; it has not published the 2026–28 figures. Grand total out of 100 for 2026–28: the interview (25) plus a 75-mark profile score. CAT counts as a share of the highest CAT score; work experience earns full marks for more than 18 and up to 30 months, counted under the JAP 2026 rules; gender-diversity marks go to women and transgender candidates; graduation marks are banded; the professional-qualification marks go to a CA, CS or ICWA; academic-diversity marks go to degrees in the non-engineering disciplines IIM Kashipur lists. Offers follow Government of India reservation.

Degree: A full-time bachelor's degree in any discipline (10+2+3) or equivalent, with the marks shown or the equivalent CGPA. Tests: A valid CAT 2025 score, or a GMAT score from a test taken on or after 1 May 2024; no minimum score is set — the percentile feeds the shortlist score. How it works: A separate application to IIM Kashipur, outside JAP 2026 (due 8 March 2026 for 2026–28, extended from 28 February); candidates are shortlisted on a composite score and interviewed online. IIM Kashipur was set up by the Government of India in 2011 and runs two two-year, full-time residential programmes on its campus in Kashipur, Uttarakhand: the MBA and the MBA (Analytics), which began in 2020. It also offers two executive MBAs and a PhD.
The MBA’s total fee is ₹20.8 lakh, and the MBA (Analytics) charges the same.

General-category applicants need at least 90 percentile overall in CAT and 75 in every section to be considered. These are floors; admitted candidates usually score higher.
