How it works: Clearing your category's overall CAT 2025 minimum puts you on IIM Sambalpur's Stage 1 list, which brought an email in January 2026 with a link to its own application form; interview calls are then drawn on a pre-interview score, so the call cut-off sits above these floors. General relaxation: The General minimum drops to 85 for every woman and for men with at least one year of relevant work experience. CAT sections: No sectional minimum for 2026–28, but a positive scaled score in each of VARC, DILR and QA. Overseas candidates: Indian or foreign citizens who lived, worked or studied outside India from 1 January 2025 to 28 February 2026, and so could not sit CAT 2025, apply by email with a GMAT score of at least 670 (top 15 percentile, valid for 2026) and a bachelor's degree with 50%; they are judged on GMAT 40%, work experience 20%, past academics 10% and an online interview 30%.
