MBA · 2025 season
IIT (ISM) Dhanbad runs two programmes. The MBA and MBA (Business Analytics) publish one fee, ₹3.85 lakh (derived), and one average package, ₹11.16 lakh for 2025 — as published by the institute.
ROI divides the average package by the full programme fee; payback is the months of that package it takes to equal the fee, before tax. Fee bases differ between colleges, so check what each fee includes before comparing two.

Degree: A bachelor's degree in any discipline, or a professional qualification equivalent to a UGC-recognised degree, with a first class or 60% (a CGPA of 6.0 out of 10); 55% or a CGPA of 5.5 for SC, ST and PwD candidates. Entrance test: A valid CAT 2025 score for the 2026–28 batch. IIT (ISM) then sets category-wise CAT percentile cut-offs for the interview call, shown under the cut-offs. Final-year students: May apply; admission is provisional until every requirement of the degree is met, with a provisional certificate due by 30 September 2026. International applicants: Foreign nationals, NRIs and PIOs apply through IIT (ISM)'s International Relations office, not this admission round: a three-year bachelor's degree with 55% and a GMAT score (with AWA) no more than two years old, or an interview; up to 25% of seats may be added for them above the approved intake. A floor to be considered — not the score that got admitted.
