CAT 2026 Registrations Extended to 22nd Sep

IIM Indore has officially extended the CAT 2026 registration deadline. Candidates can now register for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2026 until September 22, 2026, at 5:00 PM IST. The earlier deadline was September 15, which means aspirants have received an additional seven days to complete their applications.

Candidates who have not yet registered should complete the entire application process through the official CAT website, iimcat.ac.in. This includes filling in the application form, uploading the required documents, selecting programme and test-city preferences, and successfully paying the registration fee. Candidates should avoid waiting until the last few hours, as incomplete applications or unsuccessful payments may not be accepted after the deadline.

CAT 2026 will be conducted by IIM Indore on November 29, 2026, in three sessions. The examination will be used for admission to the IIMs as well as several other leading management institutes that accept CAT scores.

After the registration window closes, candidates who have successfully paid the application fee will also be given a limited edit window. During this period, they will be able to make changes to select fields such as their **photograph, signature and test-city preferences**. Candidates who were yet to submit their CAT form therefore have one final additional week to complete their registration.
