ISB PGP Class of 2028 Round 1 application closes September 20, 2026
Round 1 for the ISB Post Graduate Programme in Management shuts on September 20. Applications after that roll into Round 2 automatically.
Applications are open for the Indian School of Business Post Graduate Programme in Management, Class of 2028. The Round 1 application deadline is September 20, 2026.
ISB runs a staggered admission process with three deadlines per intake. Round 2 closes on December 6, 2026 and Round 3 closes on January 17, 2027. Applications submitted after September 20 are not rejected, they automatically roll into Round 2 consideration. ISB states that competition is the same across all rounds, but applying earlier gives you more time to arrange financing and logistics if you are admitted. No applications for the Class of 2028 can be accepted after January 17, 2027, and candidates may apply only once per application year.
For Round 1 applicants, tentative interview dates run from the second week of October 2026 to the second week of December 2026, with final decisions notified at the end of December 2026.
The admission prerequisites are a bachelor's or undergraduate degree in any discipline, at least two years of full time work experience, and a valid GMAT or GRE score from a test centre based test. A TOEFL or IELTS score is needed if the medium of instruction during your undergraduate education was not English. You also need a completed application form and a face to face or online interview.
On test scores, ISB allows you to submit unofficial GMAT or GRE scores if the test was taken on or before the deadline of the round you are applying in. In that case upload the test confirmation email as a PDF instead of the scorecard and enter your approximate scores in the form. The official scores must still be sent to ISB directly through the respective test portals.
If you have less than two years of work experience or are in the final year of your undergraduate or postgraduate studies, note that the earlier Young Leaders Programme and Early Entry Option deferred entry routes into PGP have been discontinued. Early career candidates should apply directly to the PGP YL programme instead. Roughly 25 percent of students receive scholarships each year.
