NMAT by GMAC 2026 registration closes 10 October; exam window runs 2 November to 20 December

Registration for the NMAT by GMAC 2026 exam closes on Saturday, 10 October 2026. Registration opened on 20 August 2026.

Scheduling your test slot also opened on 20 August and stays open until Thursday, 22 October 2026 — so you get about a fortnight after registration closes to lock in your date, but you cannot register after 10 October.

The exam delivery window runs from Monday, 2 November 2026 to Sunday, 20 December 2026. You get up to three attempts within that window to improve your score.

NMAT is a computer-adaptive test with no negative marking and equal weightage to all sections. You choose the order in which you attempt the sections. You can preview your score immediately after the test and download your scorecard within 48 hours. The exam is accepted by more than 58 business schools and is offered at test centres in over 70 cities, as well as online.

If you are targeting NMIMS or the other NMAT-accepting schools, register before 10 October and then pick your slot early — popular dates and centres fill up.
